I have only recently returned to the US after being away for many years and have had the unfortunate opportunity to experience the decline in basic customer service in the American business sector. After only a year of numerous awful experiences I had begun to lose hope.

Fortunately this has been turned around by the very professional and personable employees at Advanced Optometric Eyecare. Without going into a lengthy story, a supplier of AOE was unable to deliver on a pre-arranged delivery date for an urgent prescription. This error was to cause me serious problems in a competitive situation.

Upon finding out about the issue from AOE, my fears where quickly calmed as the issues that this error caused were professionally comprehended and solved.

In a Textbook Fashion the AOE employees that I dealt with took ownership of the problem and offered solutions, some possibly jeopardizing the profitability of the particular transaction.

It was obvious, after my experience that this small business has its business systems sorted and understand the real life time value of a customer and the power of referral business.

Having a background in Small to Medium Enterprise Development it is unusual to find a small business that does not just offer lip service to the keys of Customers Service, being that of employee training and business systems development.

Before being referred to Advanced Optometric Eyecare, I was a customer at another local place where I had already purchased a new pair of glasses.
